Katerina’s Photography Experience for your Newborn | Maternity | Children Photo Session

 

1. Email/ Phone Chat:

After you’ve filled out the initial inquiry form, I will reach out to you to get to know you and understand your expectations a little better. I will provide you with all the information you need as well I will learn more about your vision.  We will schedule a free consultation to go over all your questions. If you decide that we would be a good match, I will send you a booking link.

At this point, we will set a date for your session. I will send you a contract to sign, and you will pay a retainer fee to secure your date. Please note my calendar is usually booked two to three months in advance.

2.  Design/ Planning Consultation:

This time is geared toward talking about your session. We will discuss location, wardrobe, style, poses, set-ups, color preferences, and theme, depending on your chosen type of session. I will make sure I have a full understanding of what you envisioned to prepare for you the most stunning and unique portrait session possible. 

We will also discuss your plans for your portraits. Whether you’re looking for wall art canvases, heirloom albums, or museum-quality prints, I offer it all. 

3. Portrait Session:

Whether it’s a newborn session, a maternity session, a  cake smash, or a family portrait session, I want to make sure it’s fun for everybody. I am a mom myself, and I know we worry a lot … will my child cooperate, will I look good in the pictures, will my hubby be happy about taking pictures …. Don’t worry, I’ve got your back. I will make sure you get the most stunning pictures. I have worked with many children, so I know all the challenges that each age brings. Furthermore, I am efficient—I’ll use my tricks and tips to make sure everything runs smoothly. I will guide you through poses where you’ll feel comfortable and relaxed. And at the end of it all, you’ll have a gorgeous gallery of portraits. 

4. The Reveal and Ordering Your Images:

This is the most exciting and emotional part of the whole process. You will see your images for the first time!   Your images will be curated and softly proofs for you to review over a Zoom Call. You and your family will then decide on your favorites, and these will be professionally fully retouched.

This is when you will decide which of the beautiful images you want for your home. I will then guide you through the process before you place an order for your products. It will take about two to four weeks to complete the portraits and they will then be delivered directly to your home.

5. Delivery of your products:

Your products are finally here—yay! I will deliver them to you, and I will ask you to check that everything looks great! And now you can just enjoy your portraits for the rest of your life!

Your digital files will be sent via a digital download or you can purchase a USB drive if you prefer that. (Free USB drive is included with an album).
